Face In The Crowd is my latest single off the ReLife upcoming ReLife album.
I wrote this track as an anthem for anyone, and everybody who’s ever felt like they were meant for more. Not due to some outsized sense of entitlement, but because they are a soul that is driven to work hard and achieve things that they may not have yet been given the opportunity to pursue. When I was working on this track, I was fresh out of jail, on probation, and basically on a leash and not allowed to thrive. This gave me a feeling of desperation and frustration, but also inspired within me the desire for more. Making a dedication to do everything I could, even while in this negative situation, to propel myself to greater heights. To be ready and prepared to fly once the shackles were removed. If you’ve ever felt like you’re destined for great things, know that only you can make those dreams a reality. If this song inspires you like it did for me, then that’s a blessing.
features and friends is now live
Features and Friends is a hip hop album for hip hop heads. The concept was to bring together industry LEGENDS with up and coming, or lesser known artists to bridge the gap between those who are well known and those who deserve more shine. And I couldn’t be happier with the final product.
Every verse is intentional and perfect for its position. Each of the features are given, and took their opportunity to shine. Personally, I couldn’t be more proud of this project and how it came together. I’m stoked to be able to share a track with artists I’ve always respected and rappers I know are going to do big things, if given the chance. The album is my attempt to give them that.
