Floating Away ft. Kevin Bessey is my latest track, and is honestly, one of my favorite tracks that I’ve ever been apart of. While it’s not our first release together, it was one of the first tracks we ever collaborated on. I’ve been sitting on it for a while, and now that it’s ready, I’m SUPER stoked to share it with you all.
From the jazzy instrumental, to Kevin’s amazing hook, the concept, and my lyrics, every piece of this song brings a smile to my face. It’s always a complaint of mine that “modern” music uses instrumentals that are too bare bones, and our track does not. I’ve always had an extreme appreciation for harmonies, and Kevin comes through in spades. The way it builds from one hook to the next is something I've really love. And of course, I feel like I nailed the lyrics and exploration of the theme.

Features and Friends is a hip hop album for hip hop heads. The concept was to bring together industry LEGENDS with up and coming, or lesser known artists to bridge the gap between those who are well known and those who deserve more shine. And I couldn’t be happier with the final product.
Every verse is intentional and perfect for its position. Each of the features are given, and took their opportunity to shine. Personally, I couldn’t be more proud of this project and how it came together. I’m stoked to be able to share a track with artists I’ve always respected and rappers I know are going to do big things, if given the chance. The album is my attempt to give them that.
